Reiko's 3rd Journal
Honestly, I don’t usually think about the Iraq War deeply in my daily life, but watching the talk show this time gave me a good opportunity to think about the war. I wonder how much longer the U.S. military will be in Iraq? While they have been in Iraq, have any positive changes happened for world peace so far? Since the war started in 2003, now it seems to me that things are still messed up. I cannot help but think that many people benefit from the war and want it to last longer while a large number of Iraqis and U.S. military are dying. Since I heard Obama has been strongly opposing the war before it started, I want him to be the next president so that the war will end earlier. I actually don’t really care whoever the next president is as long as the person will pull-out all the U.S. military from Iraq. People are being killed for a “justice” that should never be allowed. Who is making money from the war anyway?

As you know, Korea is at stake because of North Korea. It's so scary. And all of Korean men have to enlist. It's,,so sad..
