Harry King Live with Kellie Lim
I totally admire the disabled woman in this show. Becoming a medical expert from such a situation is an extraordinary effort. To normal people, we sometimes do not treasure what we have until we lose it. To the disabled, they forget that they lack essential parts of the body so that they are able to get over their destinies. I remember telling off my naughty students many times when I was working. Some of them got into useless and hysterical fighting or motor-racing without being aware that their bodies were the most precious possession that they have to preserve. We all know many good mirrors of the disabled who not only overcome their own fates but also help others succeed in their lives. I know a man without hands using his legs to draw pictures to sell for a living. One of my uncles is a Vietnam War casualty. Although he has only one leg, he is a successful farmer who becomes wealthy from his several hectares of coffee and helps the poor.
So, what makes the disabled overcome their fates and integrate into community? Firstly, they must not feel a complex about their situations. This helps enforce their confidence and belief. Secondly, they should be optimistic. Being optimistic is a versatile medicine to heal injures. Thirdly they try to discover potential abilities in themselves. Everybody has potential abilities that are not discovered by them until they are in difficult situations. Once they have upheld these abilities, they will feel they are useful individuals in a society. In addition, the sympathy and aids of communities are extremely indispensable. Apart from taking care of the disabled, the communities should encourage them to do whatever they think useful for themselves, families or the communities.
The show reminds me of a very meaningful lesson: Never surrender your fate then you will be successful!

I really want to know my potential ability. When I contact the story of this kind of person, I feel that I'm nothing.
How foolish people are because people usually realize the importance of something after they lose it.
