mosaid's journal 5th

I saw Larry King Live’s interview with Kellie lim who lost both legs and one arm because she got bacterial meningitis when she was eight years old. She is a strong and unique woman that has goals in her life. Even though she is a triple amputee, she never surrendered her dream of becoming a doctor.
I think this is a great story and a good example for anyone who ever thinks that his or her life is so bad and he or she can’t possibly continue because basically, if you don’t give up, anything is possible and I guess most people will be whining & bitching all day, and doing nothing if they were her.
Actually, I wasn’t surprise of her story because I know many handicapped people that are doing unbelievable work. For example, when I was at the university I had a handicapped classmate who used a wheelchair all the time because he got in a car accident when he was a child. Any way, he always got As in every class because he had a dream to become a lawyer and he drives his car without any help. Also, he go to the gym and played many different kinds of sport and he always smiled which makes me think about my life and how I’m lucky that I have a good health and can do whatever I want without any help. Also, he encouraged me to work hard and have goals in my life that I live for and love the life and the people by helping them as much as I can because this is my duty for them.
Thanks to God for everything and may god bless every handicapped person in the world.
